Hi! I moved to RI in July 2011 from NYC, the Lower East Side, with my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, named Merlin Manhattan. We miss our New York doggie playgroups so we are creating our own right here in RI. Would your small dog (under 15 lbs) or puppy like to play with others and get their energy out early in the day? I have a fenced in yard where all are welcome or let's share fenced-in spaces. Maybe one to two mornings per week for 30-60 minutes. Let's limit it to small and friendly dogs to minimize problems. Come meet Ziggy (my rescued min-pin/chihuahua mix) and Marley (my rescued yorkie mix) and let your dogs have some fun!

This is a group for dog owners who like to walk their dog at Great Brook Farm in Carlisle. I enjoy taking my Boston terrier for walks there and thought it would be fun to form a pack walk. My dog isn't ready for off leash walks yet by herself but has done well off leash in a pack. I'd like to walk on Saturday or Sunday mornings. Calling all yorkie owners! I'd love for our yorkie Hugo to meet other yorkies on the south shore. We recently lost our other yorkie Apollo and don't want Hugo to be so lonely. He is super friendly and loves to socialize with other dogs. We have a nice big yard and can also go to the beach once the weather warms up. We can meet once a month to let our little dogs play together. Us yorkie Moms and Dads can share some food and drinks too! Looking forward to meeting you!

Little dogs do best when socialized regularly! It's not always easy to bring our little ones to dog parks and let them run around in the general mix. Chihuahuas in particular love their own kind, and love to meet other little dogs. Puppies learn so much from socializing and it's great for rescues too. Small breeds 15lbs and under are welcome!
